5 OKU MEN MOLESTED BY KOREAN PRIEST

Kuala Lumpur, Dec 17- Priest. Holy, down to earth and has everything to do with positivity and holiness. Except for this priest. 

A Korean priest was arrested from a church in Malaysia on the 23rd of November 2020 for molesting 5 OKU men and is expected to be charged on the 21st December.

The victims were aged between 27 to 40 are members of a deaf association and would often attend religious classes in Penang and Selangor. 

According to Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Huzir Mohamed, there were six reports made against this Korean priest- five in Penang and one in Selangor. The first report was received on 12 November and followed by five similar reports.

The suspect is married with two children. He came to Malaysia through an invitation by the deaf association's founder with a purpose to teach Bible. The suspect would meet his victims during classes and church activities in Penang and Selangor. 

The incident took place from 2011 till 2016. The victims said that the suspect would molest them by hugging, kissing on the lip and rubbing his private part against them. The victims reported this issue late because the suspect convinced them that he was their leader and they should obey his orders. 

The suspect was held for seven days (ending on 30th November) at Seberang Perai Utara District Police Headquarters, Penang before being quarantined till 8th December. Later, the suspect was arrested again after a police report was made at Kepala Batas and was held for four days for an investigation on two cases that occurred in Penang. 

The suspect was also held from 13th December till 18th December after a police report was made in Petaling Jaya, before facing two charges at Butterworth, Penang court next week.
